All document rendering, image compression, JSON parsing, and cryptographic operations run locally inside your browser memory.
MWT Labs does not have backend servers storing your uploaded PDFs, confidential images, or raw text inputs.
We do not sell personal data, track users across different domains, or fingerprint browser devices.
When you use any utility on MWT Labs (including PDF manipulation, QR code generation, Markdown conversions, or currency calculators), your input files and data remain strictly within your browser's Web Worker and JavaScript runtime.
Certain utilities may allow you to remember preferences (such as theme choice, recently converted currency units, or editor layouts) via your device's standard browser localStorage. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time in your browser settings.
For live financial conversions (e.g. Currency Converter), exchange rates are fetched directly from publicly verified open APIs (such as Frankfurter / European Central Bank public feeds). No personally identifiable details are transmitted during these rate queries.
When using the QR and Barcode Scanner, camera permissions are requested exclusively to stream video frames into your local Canvas element for offline barcode decoding. Camera streams are discarded in real time and are never recorded or transmitted.
